WHAT WE OFFER:

You will become part of NEWPORT’s growing Atlanta-based team and will have the opportunity to work on one of the most exciting urban revitalization projects in Atlanta and the US. To date, Newport has acquired 48 buildings, totaling 800k SF of commercial properties, and four acres of land in the heart of South Downtown Atlanta. As a member of our team you will be working on some of the key adaptive reuse and ground-up developments projects in the portfolio and work ambitiously and passionately with the NEWPORT team on reviving one of Atlanta’s most historic neighborhoods. You will also be an integral part in marketing any new projects or areas of focus for Newport in the US.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES YOU HAVE:

• Work with internal development, asset management and marketing teams to assess project marketing needs
• Lead communication and management of external partner relationships with creative agencies, public relations firm and marketing consultants
• Own end-to-end management of marketing and leasing collateral design, editing and publication
• Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activations for community events
• Manage updates to marketing and leasing materials, including leasing books, site plans, area maps, LODs, etc.
• Manage South Dwntn brand through consistent oversight of brand standards and messaging in all collateral creation and use on online platforms (website and social media)
• Own all programming and content updates for South Dwntn’s website, leading programming partner to prioritize appropriately
• Lead logistics, communications and execution of external community-facing tours and events, eventually being able to lead tours independently
• Assist in management of annual marketing budget for South Dwntn project

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related Business degree
• 4+ years of experience in marketing, leasing, content management, brand management, and/or vendor management
• Experience in creative writing, graphic design and e-mail marketing is a plus
• Good knowledge of the Atlanta commercial real estate market or in town development is a plus
• Track record of consistently managing projects from start to end, completing them on time and within budget
• Critical thicker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
• Ability to comprehend and interpret consumer behavior
• Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and handle multiple projects under pressure simultaneously
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and extract the highest potential from supporting personnel and outside contractors, vendors and consultants and lead by example
• Entrepreneurial, highly motivated and goal-oriented personality
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, networking and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Content Management Systems (CMS) and Adobe Creative Suite
